CO2 fire extinguishers use highly pressurised carbon dioxide to displace air and starve a fire of oxygen. CO2 is a natural non-corrosive and non-conductive gas that leaves no residue and is therefore a perfect choice for extinguishing fires in places where electrically energised equipment is used, such as server rooms, electrical substations etc. Our CO2 extinguishers are classed as B:E but can also be used on A Class fires to limited success. Not suitable for cooking oil/fat fires or flammable gas fires.
